Advanced Mathematical Science for Mobility Society Research Lab is composed of four research groups, each with researchers from basic science fields with diverse expertise participating in multifaceted research.

Group 01.

Flow and Physics

Model the “flow” of people and goods, and contribute to a mobility society in which complex transportation networks flow smoothly.

Group 02.

Control and Continuous Optimization

Understand the mobility society as a dynamic collection of networks, and analyze it by utilizing machine learning techniques.

Group 03.

Data Science and MachineLearning

Understand the mobility society as a dynamic collection of networks, and analyze it by utilizing machine learning techniques.

Group 04.

Algorithm Theory for Mobility

Construct an algorithmic theory that mathematically guarantees a system with “safety, comfort, convenience, and fairness” for the various participants in a mobility society.
